Johnson Matthey one-day seminar was attended by over 50 delegates from Johnson Matthey Catalysts’ Refinery Seminar at Bangkok, 19th March 2007

Johnson Matthey Catalysts held its Asia Pacific Refinery seminar this year at Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday 19th March 2007. This was one day prior to the ARTC 10th Annual Seminar, Refining & Petrochemicals. The countries including Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia & even Saudi Arabia, and of course the host country, Thailand .

The seminar was used as the launch pad for our new collaboration with Sinopec for hydroprocessing catalysts. A presentation on the hydroprocessing catalyst portfolio received an enthusiastic response and queries from the audience. Other areas covered in the seminar included catalysts & services for the rapidly growing hydrogen segment, including Tracerco’s diagnostic services for refineries, and catalyst handling services from Dialog, our agents in SE Asia.

The day-long event culminated with a very pleasant dinner cruise for delegates on the Chao Phraya river that runs through Bangkok. The event was very well received and appreciated by the delegates, both for its content as well as the organization. Some photos from the event are attached. Johnson Matthey Catalysts also hosted the opening cocktail party for the ARTC Event.
